This was a passion project that started out as just charcoal drawings (30x44"). Ever since Art school, I've always loved charcoal and its ability to be manipulated. Additionally, cinematic portraits, specifically high contrast, shadowed ones have always caught my eye. Eventually these charcoal drawings were turned into the duo tone posters, you see below.
