Living the early parts of my adult life in Grand Rapids, MI meant one major thing: Breweries. Breweries are a central part of the Grand Rapids culture. Going to school just a few minutes from Founders, the brewery that set off the movement, it felt like a place that was definitely a part of me. As a personal project (hoping they would eventually buy it from me) I studied their existing menu, conducted surveys, and reexamined what a proper Founders menu would look like and what it needed to accomplish. This was the result. In the end, it was never implemented, but the hand crafted approach definitely turned into a labor of love, that I still believe embodies the company as a whole, as well as promotes sales and creates a better customer experience.
