Wedding invites can go one of two ways. They can either be frustrating tug-of-war projects where you're trying to push the client out of their comfort zone, or exciting explorations of a clients idea, where they allow you to go where the project takes you. This was definitely the latter. Dave and Danielle approached me with one core concept in mind – "The Great Gadsby". Other than aligning with their chosen color palette, they were very excited about the idea of letting me take it where I felt it should go. In the end, it was not only one of the most fun I've had a project, but Dave and Danielle were equally excited about the final product. It's one of those projects that doesn't come around often, but when it does, its a reminder of why I'm in this business.
The printing was letterpress, carried out by Freshly Squeezed who did an incredible job. I couldn't have been more pleased with their quality of work.
